Oral Exam Question Bank
A checkride oral question bank organised the way the examiner is thinking — by Area of Operation, then by Task — with the emphasis on the decision each answer leads to.
Intended customer
Candidates preparing for a checkride oral examination, and study partners running practice sessions.
What is included
- Questions organised by Area of Operation and Task, following the Private Pilot — Airplane Airman Certification Standards (FAA-S-ACS-6C).
- Two layers on every question: whether you know the answer, and whether you would use that knowledge to make the right decision.
- Guidance on working through a Task as one continuous scenario rather than as isolated flashcards.
- How to handle a question you cannot answer: naming the reference you would check and giving your conservative default.
Frequently asked questions
- How is the product delivered?
- Checkout, receipts and delivery are handled by Gumroad. Your download link is sent to the email address you use at checkout, and you can read it on any device.
- Is there a video that goes with this?
- Yes. The bank was built to accompany a guide video: https://youtu.be/svaf6EBW750
- How should I actually use it?
- Say your answers out loud rather than in your head — the oral is a conversation, not a quiz. After you answer, stop talking and let a study partner ask the follow-up an examiner would ask.
- Which standard is it built around?
- The Private Pilot — Airplane Airman Certification Standards, FAA-S-ACS-6C. Confirm you are working from the current ACS revision before you test.
- Does this replace official FAA material?
- No. It is a study and preparation resource. Current regulations, approved manuals and official FAA publications remain the authoritative sources, and anything you rely on operationally must be verified against them.
- What is the refund policy?
- Refunds are handled by Gumroad under the policy shown on the product page at checkout.
